Vinay Pratap Singh, Deputy Commissioner cum Excise & Taxation Commissioner, UT Chandigarh issued orders for the cancellation of the license of Zannat Breweries – a bottling plant for the violation under the Excise Act.
Based on the information received from sources, an inspection was conducted on the bottling plant and based on the discrepancies found during inspections, notice was issued to the licensee. Upon hearing the licensee, an order for cancellation of the license was issued by Excise-Taxation Commissioner, Vinay Pratap Singh. The Bottling Plant has been sealed by the officials of the Excise Department.
