SAD (Amritsar) led by Simranjit Mann announces candidates for LS polls from Punjab, Haryana; party also to contest from Chandigarh, J&K

Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) led by Simranjit Singh Mann announced its seven candidates for upcoming Lok Sabha polls from Punjab and Haryana.

In the first list, the party declared that president and sitting MP Simranjit Singh Mann will contest from Sangrur, Prof Mahinderpal Singh from Patiala, Amritpal Singh Chhandra from Ludhiana, Baldev Singh Gagda from Faridkot, Er Kushalpal Singh Mann from Anandpur Sahib, Harjit Singh Virk from Karnal (Haryana) and Khajan Singh from Kurukshetra (Haryana).

The party also announced that it would field its candidates from Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir as well.

On this occasion, SAD (led by Sukhbir Badal) leader Harjinder Singh Jakhu also joined the SAD (Amritsar).
