Four Sikh Entrepreneurs of Ludhiana who are alumni of SCD College Ludhiana have found place in India Today’s Coffee Table book.
Praising alma mater, the Alumni Association Scd Govt College stated that it is a matter of pride that 5 Sikh Entrepreneurs of Ludhiana of which 4 have been Alumni of our premier Alma Mater have found a place in a special Coffee Table Book of the prestigious publication India Today.
The book is titled as “The Sikhs – Our Heros & Pride of India.” The publication was launched in a special ceremony where the Chief Guest was Governor of Punjab, Shri Banwari Lal Purohit.
A total number of prominent 25 persons have been chosen from a wide spectrum. Four of the entrepreneurs who are Alumni of SCD Govt College Alumni are Onkar Singh Pahwa of Avon Cycles Ltd., Surinder Singh Bhogal, MD of Bhogal Sales Corporation, Harsimerjit Singh Lucky, MD of Lucky Engineers and Tejvinder Singh, MD Bigben Industries.
The organizing secretary of the Alumni Association Brij Bhushan Goyal said that all of these entrepreneurs have made our Alma Mater proud as they are a profound inspiration for excellence through hard work to inspire the new generation of the college which has a 104-year-old history of illustrious students.
Other Alumni executives who congratulated them are K B Singh, O P Verma, Ashok Dheer, Prof. Dr Sajla Kaushal HOD Economics, Prof. Dr Satya Rani and Prof. Geetanjali Pathreja. All these Alumni entrepreneurs also keep helping their college in various ways financially under CSR initiatives,said Goyal.
