Ministerial staff of DC offices in Punjab goes on pen down strike in support of revenue staff of Ropar against alleged misbehaviour of Ropar MLA

All The Ministerial staff of Deputy Commissioner offices and revenue staff today went on pen down strike against alleged misbehaviour of Ropar MLA with the revenue staff there .

DC office Ministerial staff union Punjab state general secretary Satbir Singh told PTI that entire ministerial staff of Punjab was on pen down strike till July 26 and a strike would continue in case MLA did not apologise for his alleged misbehaviour and false accusations of corruption against the revenue staff at Ropar .

Satbir said that it was the failure of the government which did not notify the villages and towns for the issuance of No objection certificates for the purpose of registration of sale deeds adding that delay in NOC was also attributed due to inadequate staff in town planning department people are subjected to harassment for the delay in registration of sale deeds.

He expressed the hope that issue would be resolved soon as the talks with government was in progress and union was expecting positive outcome.
