Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab’s Sri Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha candidate Malvinder Singh Kang today started his election campaign by paying obeisance at Gurudwara Shri Sohana Sahib in Mohali.
After this, he went to Sri Anandpur Sahib, Keshgarh Sahib and Mata Naina Devi and paid obeisance along with all the honorable MLAs of Anandpur Sahib Lok sabha constituency.
He thanked the party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab’s honourable Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and assured that he will win the Lok Sabha elections and raise the voice of Punjab in the Parliament.
Malvinder Kang said that our fight is for the future of the children of Punjab, the fight of other parties is for the future of their families. These opposition parties have betrayed the people by not developing Sri Anandpur Sahib, the historic land who witnessed many sacrifices, the people will never forgive them for the betrayal.
Malvinder Kang said that the Mann government of Punjab has done exceptional work for every section of Punjab in the last two years, which includes giving jobs to the youth, strengthening the agriculture sector, curbing corruption, giving free electricity to the common people, door step delivery of ration etc. All these works are possible only in the government of Bhagwant Mann.
Malvinder Kang said, “I want to make one thing clear that our Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has come into politics under a mission and I can also tell the voters of Sri Anandpur Sahib with great confidence that I have a social life of 24 years, no one can point a finger at me, till date I have fought only and only for public welfare.”
Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains himself reached Sirsa Nangal of Sri Anandpur Sahib with hundreds of his supporters to participate in the said road show which started from Mohali. Malvinder Singh Kang also looked very confident after seeing the huge crowd of thousands of people.
Let us tell you that hundreds of people standing on both sides of the road from Sirsa Nangal, Shri Kiratpur Sahib to Shri Anandpur Sahib met AAP candidate Malvinder Singh Kang for the first time after his candidature announcement and assured him of victory. Speaking on this occasion, Malvinder Singh Kang said that he is thankful to God who has given him the opportunity to serve the holy city. He also thanked the people who had come. After paying obeisance at Takht Shri Kesgarh Sahib, he left with Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains to seek blessings of Mata Shri Naina Devi ji.
Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains said on this occasion that he is satisfied with the work done during his tenure because his people’s response was so overwhelming after just one call. He said that I am indebted to the people of my constituency who have once again expressed faith in me. He said that after the assembly elections, the victory of Lok Sabha candidate Malvinder Singh Kang will prove to be a milestone in the development of this area.

AAP supporters dressed in particular color gave a warm welcome to Malvinder Singh Kang on his arrival in Mohali. Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains was also present with him.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab got a big boost in the Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency when Garhshanker Municipal Council President Trimbak Dutt Aerry along with many councilors joined the AAP.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann welcomed all the leaders who left Congress and Akali Dal to join the Aam Aadmi Party. Garhshanker MC president and MCs joined the AAP on Monday in the presence of Garhshankar MLA Jai Kishan Singh Rouri.
Trimbak Dutt Aerry (President Municipal council Garhshanker), Sarabjit Kaur (Block Samiti Chairman of Garhshanker) MC Parveen, Somnath Bangar, MC Deepak Kumar, MC Harpreet Singh, MC Sumit soni, MC Amrik singh S/o Shila devi, former MC Paramjit Singh, Zila parishad member Harmeshver Singh, Block Simiti Chairman Kuldeep Kaur, Arti association President Saila Kamaljit Singh Rinka, Sarpanch Chak Singha Kuldeep Singh, Sarpanch Bilron Hem Raj, Sarpanch Ram pur Harmesh Lal, Ex Block samiti member Dr Kewal Ram, Sabzi Mandi President Mahilpur Balbir Singh Dhillon, Congress leader Ajmair Singh Dhillon, Mohit Saila and Ex MLA candidate JK Saila joined the AAP.
Later addressing a press conference Punjab VS deputy speaker and AAP MLA Jai Kishan Singh Rouri once again welcomed all the leaders to part and said that it is an important day for the Garhshanker constituency. Many leaders are joining the Aam Aadmi Party today.
Their arrival in the AAP is a reward of people’s welfare works and decisions that the Mann government has taken in the two years. He said that the Mann government of Punjab has fulfilled the election guarantees and the people are happy with the work of the AAP, so they are joining the party in large numbers.
He said that, in Garhshanker too, their party has done exceptional work. He said that the city got three new fire brigade vehicles, a bypass and the long pending sewerage work project worth Rs 14 crore was started.
90% of the households of the constituency Garhshankar are getting zero electricity bills and crores of rupees have been spent on the School of Eminence where our children get a world-class education. Impressed with all these development works of the AAP government these leaders have decided to join the AAP.
He once again welcomed all the leaders and said that the party would live up to their expectations. He added that all these leaders have decided to make the AAP candidate Malvinder Singh Kang win the Anandpur Sahib seat by a huge margin.
