Haryana CM Saini paid obeisance at Golden Temple, Amritsar

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh today paid obeisance at the Golden Temple Sri Harmandir Sahib (Sri Darbar Sahib) in Amritsar. The Chief Minister visited the langar hall, took the prasad, and sat with the Sangat like a common man. After partaking in the langar, he also performed bartan seva for about 15 minutes. Minister of State for Transport Sh Aseem Goyal accompanied him. On this occasion, the Gurudwara Committee presented a saropa and a picture of Sri Darbar Sahib to the Chief Minister.

Later, the Chief Minister also visited the Bhagwan Valmiki pilgrimage site Ram Tirth Mandir near Amritsar to pay obeisance to Bhagwan Valmiki. He remarked that this is the Tapobhoomi of Bhagwan Valmiki, where Mata Sita taught Luv-Kush. The holy book Ramayana was written by Bhagwan Valmiki. He highlighted that people from all over the country visit here to paid their respects and seek blessings. The temple committee presented a saropa and a picture of Bhagwan Valmiki to the Chief Minister.

Later, while speaking to media persons, the Chief Minister expressed, “Today, I have found great peace of mind by visiting Amritsar, the sacred city of Sikh Gurus. This is a holy place where we should pledge to follow the path shown by the Gurus.” He stated, “I pray that every person in Haryana remains healthy and progresses in life. This is the prayer I offered at the Guru ghar.” Reflecting on his visit, he said, “Being here has revitalized me with new energy and strength. It is indeed a blessing for me to bow down before the Gurus.”

On SYL issue: Punjab is our elder brother, and it is the duty of the elder brother not to disappoint the younger brother

In response to a question on the SYL issue, Chief Minister Nayab Singh said, “Punjab is our elder brother, and it is the duty of the elder brother not to let the younger brother be disappointed.” He also stressed the familial bond between Punjab and Haryana, stating, “Punjab-Haryana is one family, one household, and I appeal to our elder brother to share water with us.”
