Haryana CM flags off bus carrying pilgrimage to Ayodhya

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh flagged off an AC bus from Ambala district to Ayodhya Dham under the Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana on Monday. The bus carried 38 pilgrims who will visit Lord Rama Temple in Ayodhya.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that sending a group from the holy land of Maa Amba for the darshan of Lord Rama is a proud moment. He highlighted the recent construction of a divine and grand temple of Lord Shri Rama in Ayodhya, calling it a matter of good fortune.

Through the Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana, lakhs of devotees from the state will visit important pilgrimage sites across the country free of cost.So far, the state government has dispatched seven AC Volvo buses, enabling hundreds of pilgrims to visit Ayodhya and other pilgrimage sites.

This unique scheme honors the faith of the devotees. During the event, the Chief Minister interacted with the pilgrims heading to Ayodhya Dham and extended his best wishes to them.

On this occasion, Minister of State for Transport Aseem Goyal, Director General, Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture Department Mandip Singh Brar, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shalin, SP Jashndeep Singh Randhawa, Joint Director Gaurav Gupta, BJP District President Mandeep Rana were also present. During this, one kit bag each was also made available to the devotees by the Department of Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture.It is worthwhile to mention here that the Haryana government initiated the Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana to provide free pilgrimage opportunities to devotees.

Under this scheme, pilgrimages to various religious places are organized. To be eligible for this scheme, individuals must be over 60 years of age and have an annual family income not exceeding Rs 1,80,000.

Eligible devotees must register on the Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana portal. Many beneficiaries have already availed themselves of the benefits of this scheme.
