Gurjeet Singh Aujla, who reached the Lok Sabha after winning from Amritsar for the third time, took oath today. He gave the slogan of Jai Jawan Jai Kisan as well as Jai Samvidhaan.
He took oath as Lok Sabha member in Punjabi under the chairmanship of Speaker Radha Mohan Singh in Delhi Lok Sabha. Gurjeet Singh Aujla became MP from Amritsar for the first time in 2017. After that in 2019 and then for the third time in 2024, the people of Amritsar showed faith in him and made him the voice of Amritsar. Gurjeet Singh Aujla raised his voice on every issue for the city during his tenure as Lok Sabha MP. He also discussed the issue of drugs in the Lok Sabha and also wrote letters to the Punjab government. After taking oath, Gurjeet Singh Aujla thanked Amritsar and the people of Amritsar. He said that he would be grateful for the trust and cooperation of the people.
Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that he will not let the trust of the people of Amritsar break and will serve them with the same heart and soul as he has been doing earlier. He said that on the basis of initiative, he will complete his pending projects and will soon work on new schemes. He also thanked the senior leaders of Congress who supported him and made him the winner.
