Chandigarh, September 23
A Sikh youth was thrashed by over 15 people in a busy Amritsar street. The incident has been captured in CCTV camera.
The victim has been identified as Harman Singh. Harman said that he was going to Ajit Nagar when a moterbike hit him.
The boy on the bike started arguing with him and later beat him up. However, the people around came to his rescue.
He said “it was later in the day, when some 15 youth came from somewhere and thrashed him”.
I was beaten by some 15 youth, they hit and kicked me. They also hit me on my head with the karas they were wearing. They pulled my hair and made a video of me to insult me,” he alleged.
Harman got 12 stiches on his head.
Harman Singh’s father said that they have met the police and have asked them to take action against the youth who beat his som up captured in the CCTV.
