The Ferozepur police claimed to have nabbed two robbers within 4 hours after they allegedly snatched a cash of Rs. 1.60 lac from the girl.
Immediately on getting the information of loot of Rs.1.60 lac from a girl near Multani Gate by two motorcycle-borne youths, the police swung into action and the orders for covering the ‘nakas’ and sealing points and alerting the police teams. Within four hours, the police using its informers to collect information about accused persons involved in such cases, two accused, identified as Luvpreet Singh (23) of Arianwala in Makhu block, 12th pass and Gulshan (27) Matric pass, were arrested with motorcycle and the police also recovered the snatching amount of Rs.1.60 lac.
SSP Soumya Mishra said that during the preliminary investigation, it has come to the surface that the accused are already facing 9 cases at different police stations and further in-depth investigations are underway.
