Patna, December 18
Turbaned Sikh IPS officer Rajwinder Singh Bhatti has been appointed as DGP Bihar.
He is a 1990 batch IPS officer of the Indian Police Service.
Home Department of the Government of Bihar on Sunday issued a notification of Rajwinder Singh Bhatti as the new DGP.
Former DGP SK Singhal’s tenure is ending on December 19 after which Rajwinder Singh Bhatti will join as new DGP.
Bhatti was earlier serving as ADG of the Border Security Force (BSF) Eastern Command.
