On the issue of SYL canal dispute, Centre told Supreme Court today that the matter got delayed due to the non-cooperation of the Punjab government.
As per News18, Centre told Punjab Government CMs have not come for meetings even after letter sent by Jal Shakti department.
The Central government told that in April the letter was sent to new CM Bhagwant Mann but they didn’t receive any response.
The apex court has asked all the states concerned to hold a meeting with Union Water Resource Minister within four weeks.
