Balkaur Singh, father of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, on Sunday asked the Punjab government to make it easier for the public to obtain a gun license for self-protection.
Government cannot give gunman to everyone. People need to learn how to protect themselves. I urge the government to simplify the procedure to obtain a gun license so that people to get a license within a week with a simple application,” he added.
“Those who come to attack us also have two hands but the only difference is that they are armed. Let us be as prepared as them. Don’t make obtaining gun license so long and daunting,” Singh added.
