Amritsar, August 3
An SGPC staff was stabbed to death after a personal dispute between two employees took an ugly turn here on Saturday.
The incident occurred in the SGPC office of Teja Singh Samundri Hall near Golden Temple at around 1.15pm.
Darbara Singh was in the account’s branch of the SGPC. The accused, identified as Sukhbir Singh, was posted in the general branch. He stabbed Darbara with Sri Sahib in the chest leaving him critically injured.
Darbara was rushed to Guru Ram Das Hospital near Gurdwara Shaheedan Sahib where doctors declared him dead.
