Dr Davinder Singh Chhina, a principal working with Education department Punjab has got the distinction of getting two commendation certificates from Belgian Authorities for his role and contribution for Cross -country relations between Belgium and India .
Global -Heritage Exponent Dr Chhina had been on record hosting World class folk delegations International Folk festivals and International Acadwmic -seminars at Amritsar ; Ludhiana and other parts of Punjab inviting record number of 48 Elite Foreign Delegations ; Since 2002 .
Recently he has hosted European Delegation led by Eminent Historians Mr Dominiek Dendooven ( Belgium ) and Mr Bhupinder Singh ( Netherlands ) in Punjab .
Dr Dominiek had presented these two commendation -certificates one by Director of world famous “In -Flanders field Museum ” Ypres ; Mr Stephen Lodewyck and another by Deputy -Mayor of city of Ypres; Mr Philip Bolle ;for the Incredible contribution of Dr Davinder Singh Chhina in strengthening Enduring -friendship between both countries by organising International -Seminars (April 2015 April 2023) in the commemoration of Sikh -soldiers who had sacrificed their lives for the liberation of European countries in world war 1and 2.
Dr Chhina appreciated the Research works of Dr Dominiek Dendooven and Mr Bhupinder Singh Netherlands in researching and documenting the role of Sikh soldiers in world war 1and 2 .
