IAS officer Devender Singh (Retd) has been appointed as Advisor (Irrigation) to Chief Minister Haryana.Manohar Lal Khattar.
The Haryana government had sent the communication to DoPT for the extension of three officers for two years. ACS (Revenue and Disaster management) PK Das was the third officer for whom the government had sought the extension.
Das is due to retire in August.Notably, Arora and Devender Singh had been the blue eyed boys of the Haryana government. Besides efficiently handling the Covid situation, especially meeting the requirements related to vaccines and other issues, Arora had been single-handedly handling the same.
