As the Lok Sabha polls are drawing closer, several leaders are switching parties for their political benefit. Recently, two Punjab MLAs, Raj Kumar Chabewal (Congress to AAP) and Sheetal Angural (AAP to Congress) switched sides but their resignations are still awaiting approval.
It has been reportedly two weeks since Raj Kumar Chabewal resigned from Congress and joined the Aam Aadmi Party, whereas the formal resignation of AAP MLA Sheetal Angural was sent to Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan last week.
Speaking to Babushahi, Speaker Sandhwan confirmed that the resignation of both MLAs has not been accepted yet. He said that the resignation is being examined and under process.
