Ferozepur, November 4
A two-day Amrit Mahautsav of freedom and a two-day seminar on the unsung heroes of freedom were organized at the Dev Samaj College of Education for Women under the guidance of Chairman Nirmal Singh Dhillon, Secretary Dr. Agnieez Dhillon and Principal Dr. Organized under the leadership of Rajwinder Kaur. In this seminar, MLA Ferozepur Urban Ranbir Singh Bhullar attended as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhullar MLA said, this seminar is an attempt to remember the unsung freedom fighters so that the youth and the coming generation could know about these heroes of freedom and their sacrifices. He said that the freedom we are enjoying today is due to the sacrifices given by them. He said that many heroes have given their sacrifices in freedom which the world is not even aware of and this event is a humble effort to make the present generation aware about those heroes.
In this two-day seminar, the role of main speaker Dr. Jatinder Grover (Department of Education, Punjab University, Chandigarh) Dr. Parveen Seron (Coordinator Department of Punjabi, Punjab University Chandigarh) attended as the first speaker and Dr. Jaspal Singh Varwal (Associate Professor, Department of Education, University of Jammu) participated as the second speaker. In addition, Dr. Gurmeet Singh (Associate Professor, Malwa Central College of Education, Ludhiana) Dr. Anwinder Preet Singh (Assistant Professor, Malwa Central College of Education, Ludhiana) and Dr. Sukhdev Singh (Associate Professor, Malwa Center College of Education, Ludhiana) attended as guests. All the speakers highlighted the neglected freedom fighters.
