Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha member Raghav Chadha on Tuesday raised an important issue in the Parliament and demanded immediate extradition of notorious gangsters from abroad.
During his address in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, the MP Raghav Chadha said that this issue is not only associated to Punjab but a concerning matter for whole country, therefore, the centre government should act swiftly and strongly to extract the gangsters from abroad and give them exemplary punishment.
Referring to gruesome murder of popular Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and involvement of gangsters operating from the North American country in violent crime in Punjab, MP Chadha said that due to these criminals, many mothers have lost their beloved sons and it is high time the Centre government and their agencies should act.
Training guns at BJP government, he said that even the central agencies had recently admitted that many dreadful gangsters running extortion business in India from abroad but despite this why the centre is not pushing for extradition of these criminals is shocking.
He urged the union government to immediately bring these gangsters to India for giving them harshest punishment. He said that some countries have become aa safe haven for these criminals.
He also attacked previous governments in Punjab for patronising criminals for their vested interests which has now claimed many innocent lives.
