Under the visionary Leadership of Vice Chancellor, Punjabi University, Patiala, Prof. Arvind , an Agreement (MOU) was signed between Punjabi University, Patiala and the various prestigious Hospitals of North India in a Formal Function held at Senate Hall today.
This empanelment is dedicated towards Manav Seva Sankalp Diwas (Death Anniversary of Bhai Ghaniya ji).
The Various Hospitals include Vardhman Mahaveer Hospital, Patiala ;Star Medicity, Patiala; Patiala heart Institute,Patiala ,A. P. Healthcare,Patiala; Ajay Path Labs,Patiala; Bansal Eye Hospital, Patiala; Galaxy Hospital,Patiala ; Prime Multispeciality Hospital ; Phull Neuro and Multispeciality, Patiala; Medanta – Medicity, Gurugram ; Bansal Joint line Hospital, Patiala; Ivy Hospital, Mohali ; Ivy Hospital, Khanna and Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana are empanelled with Punjabi University, Patiala. The doctors and the Hospital Administrators were honoured on the occasion
The Employees, Faculty and Staff ( both Retired and working )and their dependents will get the Services at CGHS Rates .
The Employees will have to show their ID Card and Health Card for the Dependents.
Vice Chancellor, Prof Arvind congratulated the SMO for taking this initiative to give the best Facilities to the Employees and their families at these Hospitals at CGHS Rates.
Dr . Ashok Tiwari, Dean Academics said this MOU will be beneficial to the Punjabi University family. It is a matter of great privilege that MoUs are being executed between Punjabi University, Patiala and leading hospitals of Patiala. This step is highly relevant in the current day context because health care costs have increased exorbitantly. These hospitals are known for the quality of health care they provide and now this service will be made available to employees of Punjabi University at CGHS rates, which will be highly beneficial to the University too. I commend the team of Dr. Regina Maini, SMO, Bhai Ghaniya Health Centre of Punjabi University for their efforts in making the MoUs become a reality.
Dr Navjot Kaur ,Registrar said this facility will help the employees, faculty and their dependents to take the facilities at CGHS rates.
Dean Research Dr. Manjit Patterh said it’s a great outcome of the efforts by the University and Bhai Ghaniya Health Centre of Punjabi University Patiala. The faculty and staff of the University will be benefitted with these MOUs. I congratulate our VC Sir, Dr. Regina and all the University on this occasion.
Finance Officer, Dr. Parmod Aggarwal said I think that MoU will be beneficial to the family members of Punjabi University Patiala and our health centre will carry the true message of humanity which was delivered by Bhai Ghaniya ji .
