The timings of government, aided, recognized and private schools of Punjab are going to change from March 1. All the schools in the state will now run from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
According to the orders issued by the Punjab government, the timings of the government schools have been changed due to the change in the weather.
With this, the timing of primary and upper primary schools will be from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, while the timing of middle high/senior secondary schools will be from 8:30 am to 2:50 pm.
