Chandigarh, September 25
At last, Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit has given permission one-day session of Punjab Vidhan Sabha on September 27 at 11.00 AM after Bhagwant government sent the list of legilative business to be taken in the house.
It is worth mentioning here that Bhagwant Mann government had summoned Special Session of Vidhan Sabha on September 22 for which Punjab Governor had earlier granted permission but later had withdrawn it.
Now Government has called a session September 27. Punjab Governor had reminded CM of his duties under Article 167 and 168 of the Constitution. In response to this, Secretary Vidhan Sabha has sent agenda for session but government reminded Governor that he was bound to follow advice of Council of Ministers.
