The Department of Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture, Haryana has invited applications to empanelled the folk artist units and artists in the state on empanelment basis for three years in the districts. The empanelment will be done for three years and the artists will be given the responsibility of promoting the policies of the government.
The unit/group can also be sent outside the state and district for publicity on behalf of the government. The empanelled artists have to ensure mass publicity of public welfare schemes and programmes of the government.
Giving information in this regard, Director General Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture Department and Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Dr. Amit Agrawal said that folk artistes will be empanelled in Yamunanagar, Ambala, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Fatehabad, Jhajjar, Jind, Kaithal, Kurukshetra, Narnaul, Nuhan, Palwal, Panipat, Panchkula, Rewari, Sirsa and Sonipat districts, for which applications have been invited till September 20.
Dr. Amit Agrawal said that the party and artists will be empanelled to take the public welfare policies of the Haryana government to the people. The department will also pay honorarium to the party and artists at the prescribed rate.
