Arushi Jain, Research scholar, (UGC-JRF) from the Department of Economics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, has been selected as a Research Associate at the Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai, India. (only eight youngsters have been selected from all across the country)
Ms. Arushi Jain, UGC-JRF from the Department of Economics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, has been selected as a Research Associate at the International Department of Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai in-lieu of the Indian G20 Presidency. The role requires coordination between Government of India, International organisations and other stakeholders and help organize various high-level G20 meetings along with several side
events/ seminars in different parts of the country, informed her PhD Supervisior, Dr Smita Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, Panjab University.
While sharing this good news, Smita said that, this position is for a period of 9 months at a monthly stipend of 1.2 Lakh per month. She said that it is a prestigious assignment where RBI has selected only eight associates from all over the country based on the candidate’s Statement of purpose and C.V. followed by an intense interview and a composition test.
