Corporate Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum PSPCL Ludhiana will hold a special hearing at Field Hostel, Thermal Colony, Gate No. 1, Bathinda on September 6 for the convenience of esteemed consumers of PSPCL especially those belonging to West Zone. The Proceedings shall commence at 11 am.
Er. Kuldeep Singh Chief Engineer cum Chairperson of the Forum told that all Complaints relating to the supply of electricity by PSPCL involving monetary disputes of wrong billing, application of wrong tariff, wrong multiplying factor, a difference of service connection charges/ general charges or security (consumption), overhauling of account due to defective/inaccurate metering, levy of voltage surcharge, billing of the supplementary amount or any other charges (except those arising on matters about Open Access, UUE, Theft cases) involving amounts exceeding Rs Five lac in each case, can be filed directly with the Forum. In addition to this, appeals against the decisions of Division, Circle or Zonal Level CGRFs can also be filed with the Corporate Forum within two months of such decision.
The Chairperson further mentioned that normally the hearings of the Forum are conducted at its headquarters at Ludhiana but keeping in view the convenience of the consumers, the Forum would hold meetings at prominent places elsewhere in the State.
Er Himat Singh Dhillon Independent Member and Baneet Kumar Singla Member Finance will accompany the Chairperson to listen to the grievances of the consumers. New cases, if any, will also be registered at the spot.
