On Day 4 of the Employees Cricket League 2024, Season-1 (T20) organized by Punjab Secretariat Cricket Club, Chandigarh in association with Preetika Group of Industries and Mohali Auto Industries, three matches were conducted.
In Match No. 11, High Court Warriors vs Haryana Civil Secretariat played at Cricvilla ground Mohali, Team HC Warriors set a target of 182 runs for Haryana Secretariat Raman Meelu scored a 75-run brilliant knock. In response to which, Haryana Secretariat team could score only 139 runs by losing 10 wickets. Raman Meelu was given the man of the match award for his excellent batting.
Match No. 12 took place between FGS Fighters and MOH XI. FGS Fighters set a target of 173 runs in 20 overs. Ankit showing his consistent performance in the tournament had an explosive innings of 95 runs. MOH XI got all out for 123 runs. Ankit was judged man of the match award for his explosive batting.
Match No. 13 played between Food and Civil Supplies Department and AG Chandigarh at Launching pad ground. AG team captain Anup Yadav scored 63 runs and took his team’s total to 151 runs. It was an important match for the Food and Civil Supplies team to keep its chances alive for the quarter final. But Food and Civil Supplies Department was all out for 132 runs. Anup Yadav was given the man of the match award.
Hence, FGS Fighters and AG Chandigarh confirmed their place in the quarter final.
