police constable today died in a road accident here in early hours of this morning when his speeding car hit a road side tree resulting in his instaneous Death while his friend sustained serious injuries in the accident.
According to police , constable Akashdeep along with his friend Yudhvir singh who had recently returned from abroad were coming to Kapurthala from his native village Kokalpur in a creta car when it met with an accident.
The injured Yudhvir Singh has been referred to Ludhiana on seeing his serious condition.
Deceased Akashdeep had joined police service in 2019 .
