Ashok Kumar has taken over the charge of Principal Chief Administrative Officer, Patiala Locomotive Works, Patiala on December 6. Prior to this assignment, he was working as Principal Chief Electrical Engineer, Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala. Ashok Kumar belongs to IRSEE (Indian Railway Services of Electrical Engineers) of 1985 exam batch.
He has begun his career on Indian Railways as Assistant Electrical Engineer in Bhusawal Railway Division, Central Railway in 1989.
During his 33 years of long illustrious career, Kumar has held various Managerial posts of Indian Railways. Some of the major posts include ADRM, Trivendrum, CGM, IRCON Malaysia, Chief Vigilance Officer, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works and CGM, IRCON.
