one sister was killed while two other sisters injured one of them serious when their Activa scooter collided with a speeding truck due to poor visibility near village Bheela on Kapurthala-Subhanpur road here this morning.
The police said that all the victims in their early twenties were the employees of ITC company and were going to factory on a Activa when accident occurred.
The deceased was identified as Amandeep Kaur while injured identified as Kuldeep Kaur and Pawandeep Kaur all residents of village Mehmadwal near the city.
The seriously injured Kuldeep Kaur has been referred to government hospital at Amritsar while Pawandeep Kaur has been admitted in local civil hospital.
Police has registered a case against the truck driver who is absconding after the accident.
