Notices issued to 13 candidates for not coming for comparing their expenditure registers with shadow registers

With 13 out of 43 contesting candidates have failed to report for tallying their expenditure registers with the shadow registers on Monday, a notice has been issued to each of the absentee candidates.

These absentee candidates have been asked to come on Wednesday for the same exercise. These candidates include Amandeep Singh of Sehajdhari Sikh Party, Santosh Kumar of Bhartiya Inqalab Party, independents Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, Jai Parkash Jain, Ravinder Pal Singh, Sanjiv Kumar, Gurmeet Singh Kharay, Chandi, Sudhir Kumar Tripathi, Kaniya Lal, Kamal Pawar,  Shivam Yadav of Global Republican Party and Rakesh Kumar of Sunhara Bharat Party.

However on Monday, Expenditure observers for the Ludhiana Parliamentary Constituency, Pankaj Kumar, IRS, and Chetan D Kalamkar, IRS, had cross-checked the shadow registers of the remaining 30 contesting candidates with their registers at Bachat Bhawan, district administrative complex from 10 am to 5 pm.
