Gurgaon April,10

Amidst the ongoing turmoil in Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), while speculations are rife about Chautala family reunion and party’s merger with Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), the two Chautala brothers are raging a war of words. JJP national president Ajay Singh Chautala while has expressed his wish to return to INLD, his brother and senior INLD leader Abhay Chautala called him a traitor saying INLD has no place for them.

“They are too late and are the traitors of the party. They would talk about following the policies of Devi Lal and sought votes on them. But they joined hands with BJP and started looting people. There is no place for them in the party. INLD supremo Chaudhary Om Prakash Chautala has made it clear that these traitors have no place in our party,” said Abhay.

He further added that Ajay and Dushyant are frustrated with the collapse of JJP. He claimed that talks of reunion with INLD were to stop people exiting from their party.

“Let Ajay tell us why he left. What were the interests that he wanted to serve? They gave two hoots to supremo and father OP Chautala’s struggles for four and half years. They are finished socially and politically. Now they will be afraid even to file nomination, there is fear of confiscation of security deposits,” added Abhay.

Earlier, Ajay Chautala had said in Bhiwani that if OP Chautala calls him, he will join INLD the very next day. “On the day of separation, I had also said that a day will come when he will rethink. If they reconsider, we have no problem. OP Chautala has to take this initiative,” Ajay had said.

It may be noted that JJP, the former coalition partner of BJP was hit when BJP terminated its alliance with the party and shunted deputy CM Dushyant Chautala out of cabinet. This rattled the core of the party and leaders started making exit and switching sides. The second jolt came the day before when its Haryana unit chief and a prominent leader Sardar Nishan Singh and general secretary Kamlesh Singh Saini resigned from the party.
