The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has made it clear that no approval has been given by the committee to screen a film called Dastan-e-Sirhind.
Spokesperson of Shiromani Committee Harbhajan Singh Wakta issued an official statement saying that after the SGPC thoroughly reviews every aspect of any film related to Sikh history.
“Rarely such decision is taken, hence no approval has been given to run the film Dastan-e-Sirhind. The matter of the Dastan-e-Sirhind film is connected with the religious sentiments of the people,” he added.
