Punjab Information and Public Relations, Freedom Fighters and Defense Services Welfare Minister S. Chetan Singh Jauramajra, today hoisted the Tricolour at Tarn Taran on India’s 77th Independence Day, and expressed determination to realize the aspirations of martyrs and elevate Punjab to the greater heights for transforming the state into ‘Rangla Punjab’.
“Having made significant sacrifices during our freedom struggle, Punjabis fill us with pride and inspiration,” stated the Cabinet Minister during the district-level Independence Day event at Police Line Ground, Tarn Taran.
He also inspected the parade and took salutation from the march past.
