Impressed by the policies and work of the Aam Aadmi Party, leaders of other political parties are continuously joining ‘AAP’. Dozens of leaders of different political parties joined AAP in a program organized at Shahkot in Jalandhar Lok Sabha constituency here on Saturday.
Harchand Singh Barsat, general secretary of AAP Punjab, inducted everyone into the party and welcomed them. Apart from Harchand Singh Barsat, MLA Sarwan Singh Dhun, Ratan Singh Kakkar Kalan, Rajinder Singh Rahal were present in the programme.
Satish Rihan, Former President Nagar Panchayat Shahkot, along with his supporters left Congress and joined AAP. Along with him, Jatinderpal Singh Balla Ex MC, Binder Singh Thind, Harvinder Kaur Thind Ex MC, Rani Dhesi Ex MC, Jarnail Kaur Ex MC, Shiv Shambhu Gupta, Gautam Puri Press Reporter, Surinder Kumar Teji, Shiv Malhotra, Bablu Rihan, Inderjeet Singh, Praveen Sharman, Puneet Rihan, Munish Kumar, Gagandeep Singh, Bhajan Singh, Surinder Kumar Teji, Ladi Nahar, Malkiat Singh Jasal, Nand Lal Kandewal, Bobby, Prakash Pasi, Hardev and Dr. William Johar and others joined AAP. New members of the AAP claimed that AAP candidate Sushil Kumar Rinku will win the Jalandhar bypoll with a huge margin.
On this occasion, AAP Punjab General Secretary Harchand Singh Barsat said that leaders and supporters of traditional parties are continuously joining AAP after getting influenced by the policies of the Aam Aadmi Party. Party workers are taking AAP’s policies and activities to the people and they are getting very good response and support.
He said that since the formation of the AAP government in Punjab, all the ministers and MLAs of the AAP government are working on the ground level and working for the welfare of the people. People are happy that the AAP government is fulfilling its guarantees and living up to the expectations of the people. The victory of the AAP candidate Sushil Kumar Rinku is certain in the Jalandhar by-election.
