The Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee Punjab State Office Secretary Gurbachan Singh Chaba, Sarwan Singh Pandher speaking to the medial persons announced the ‘rail-roko’ programme in Punjab on May 5, in protest against the arrest of farmers by Delhi police while supporting wrestlers at Jantar Mantar (Delhi).

Added here, the female wrestlers at Jantar Mantar in Delhi are protesting against Wrestlers Federation of India, Chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh for the last 12 days, who have filed a sexual harassment complaint. It’s a sensitive issue and one of the complainants is a minor girl.

The farmer leaders said, a group of farmers has been arrested by the Delhi Police at Delhi Singhu Border and taken to Bawana police station and we strongly condemn the Delhi police station who were protesting in a peaceful manner in a democratic country and as democratic right. They further said, in case the farmer leaders of Haryana and UP are not released by the Delhi Police, the trains will be jammed across Punjab tomorrow for which the central government will be responsible.

They further said, instead of giving justice to the wrestlers who made the name of the country led by the Modi government at the center, and standing in favour of the alleged accused BJP MP Brizbhushan Sharan Singh, is not a good sign in the interest of the country.

The central government is using a different law for the common people of the country and the law for the BJP leaders, which will not be tolerated at all.
