Kapurthala gets 14 new Aam Aadmi clinics

In a major push to provide the medical facilities to the people at their doorsteps by the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led Punjab Government, the district Kapurthala today witnessed launching of 14 new Aam Aadmi clinics.

Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal inaugurated the Clinic at village Palahi falling under Phagwara sub division.

Addressing the people on this occasion, Sarangal termed it as a historic day as these clinics would provide free medical facility to lakhs of people besides offering 48 types of medical tests and 105 types of medicines free of cost.

He also reviewed the stock of medicines and registration of patients in clinics.

He also urged the people to attain maximum benefit of these clinics as online record of all patients to be maintained which will be useful for future references.

The other new clinics started today in the district include clinic at village Athauli, Parmjitpur, Dadwindi, Guru Nanak Pura, Rai Ka mohalla , Surakhpur , Saproar , Kabirpur , Ranipur and Khallu.

Prominent amongst others present on the occasion included Civil Surgeon Dr Gurbinderbir Kaur , BDPO Rajesh Chadha and medical staff.
