Former SHO Navdeep Singh and two other policement have been booked for abetment to suicide by two brothers. It is worth mentioning here that Jalandhar Police Station No 1 had booked case against Manavjit Singh Dhillon on complaint of lady Constatble Jagjit Kaur. He was brutually thrashed, his turban was tossed and he was humilated by police. Due to embarrassment caused by this incident Manavjit Singh Dhillon and his younger brother Jashanjit Singh Dhillon committed suicide by jumping in Bear River 16 days ago. Dead body of Jashanjit Singh Dhillon was recovered near Talwandi Chaudhary area of Sultanpur Lodhi after which a case u/s 306 IPC and others have been registered against former SHO Navdeep Singh, Constable jagjit Kaur and ASI Balwinder Kumar.
