Haryana Home Minister lays foundation stone for four-lane project in Ambala

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij today laid foundation stone for the construction of a four-lane road at 12 crossroads, extending from Seva Samiti Chowk to Maharaja Dhaba in Ambala.

The Municipal Council will install 40 street light poles along this four-lane stretch, incurring a cost of Rs. 96.89 lakh.

While addressing the gathering during the foundation stone-laying ceremony, he said that approval has been granted for the construction of nearly all roads in Ambala Cantonment.

He said that 284 new roads are currently under construction in the cantonment. The Home Minister said that the construction of a four-lane road from Seva Samiti Chowk to Maharaja Dhaba on 12 Cross Road will significantly benefit the residents of Ambala Cantonment.

Furthermore, he highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to elevate India to the status of a developed country by 2047, stressing the need for collective efforts starting from today.

The Home Minister said that the upcoming dairy complex in Brahmion Majra would be Haryana’s first modern facility of its kind.

The complex will generate electricity internally, utilizing solar and biogas plants. The complex will offer plots of varying sizes, including 100, 150, 250, and 500 yards, along with amenities such as a fodder market and a rest house.

A well-equipped rest house will be constructed to provide a place for the cowherds to rest after their work.
