Haryana Urban Local Bodies Minister, Dr. Kamal Gupta today said that the state government has set a goal to implement door-to-door collection of garbage from one lakh houses in Sonipat. The primary objective is to produce energy and fertilizer from this waste material. He emphasized the need to further strengthening this initiative.
Dr. Kamal Gupta was presiding over a meeting of administration regarding the inspection of door-to-door garbage collection in Sonipat today. During the meeting, JBM Company presented their work on producing energy and fertilizer through the collection of household waste. Subsequently, the Minister personally inspected various sites within the city, taking a keen interest in every aspect of the project.
He also visited the waste collection and waste segregation plant in Sonipat, which handles both dry and wet waste. The inspection aimed to assess the facility’s effectiveness and explore opportunities for improvement.
