An incident of vandalism at Gurdwara Sahib Khalsa Darbar, Charlotte has been reported.
As per the information, luckily no one was there at the time of the attack. The police are investigating the matter.
Windows in the precincts of the Gurdwara Sahib were smashed, lights broken and security cameras were damaged by some miscreants.
United Sikhs has strongly condemned this incident and said that the incident has shocked the community. Jasleen Kaur of United Sikhs said that within last couple of months, there have been four incidents of vandalism at the Gurdwara Sahib.
“Our Civil Rights Director, Pushpinder Singh, reached out to the US Department of Justice — The FBI, The Community Relations Service, The US Attorney’s Office – Western District in this regard to express our concern. Our legal team has reached out to the Gurdwara management,” said Jasleen Kaur.
