In response to a question about the Shambhu border being closed even after 200 days of the second farmers’ movement, former Haryana Minister Anil Vij targetted Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

“The farmers are sitting in Punjab, and there is an Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab. They give big slogans, put up big posters, and deliver big speeches, and the Chief Minister of Punjab is Bhagwant Singh Mann Sahab. Go and ask Mann Sahab why the farmers are sitting there (at Shambhu Border) and why he has not gone to the farmers to ask about their troubles,” he said.

A day after the Election Commission of India (ECI) changed the polling date for the Haryana Assembly elections, former Haryana Minister Anil Vij expressed gratitude to the poll body for adhering to their requests.

Targetting opposition Congress, Anil Vij further said that Congress people should not go for votes if they do not like the revised dates.

“If Congress people do not like the date set by the Election Commission, they should not go to vote on that day, but we like it, so we will go and vote because the Election Commission has made the right decision,” he expressed.

On party preparation for the upcoming polls, Vij said that the party will not just get 55 but more seats this time.Regarding the BJP candidate list, he said our leadership is excellent and is paying attention to everything, and the list will be released so

In response to a question about Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s statement that the BJP has put the entire state on a ventilator, Vij retorted, “Under his (Hooda’s) tenure, women had to commit suicide outside the DGP’s office to get an FIR registered, and during his regime, there was rampant hooliganism and looting. Now he is reminding us of ventilators while he himself is on one.”

In response to a question about the Aam Aadmi Party holding a rally, Vij said, “The Aam Aadmi Party is not holding a rally but is ‘Reh li’ because they were wiped out in Delhi, and the BJP won all seven Lok Sabha seats. Where they are in power, where their main headquarters is, and where their leader is the Chief Minister, the Aam Aadmi Party is ‘Reh li,’ and it is no longer a party but a party that Jamanat jabt party”.
