General Observer Divya Mittal on Friday took stock of the dispatch of polling parties to their respective booths, at various centres.
Mittal visited Government College for Girls, Khalsa College for Women, Guru Nanak Public School and Dr Jasmer Singh Hall, PAU and held detailed discussions with the concerned Assistant Returning Officers.
Mittal said that 1843 polling parties equipped with EVMs and election related material had been dispatched for their allotted polling booths set up for conducting polling in nine assembly segments falling under Ludhiana Sahib parliamentary constituency. She also motivated the polling parties to perform their duties dedicatedly to complete the polling smoothly.
The General Observer appealed to the electors of Ludhiana to participate in the mega festival of democracy by casting their votes on Saturday.
