Free industrial kits would be given to all ITI students of Punjab on Diwali: MP Vikramjit Singh

In continuation of his sincere efforts towards the welfare and upliftment of the youth of Punjab, today Vikaramjit Singh MP Rajya Sabha announced the Distribution of Industrial Kits to all the ITI Students of Punjab getting graduated this year.

Addressing a press conference Vikramjit Singh said that his NGO Sun Foundation is collaborating with Eastman Caste & Forge ltd. founded by Jagdish Rai Singhal who are pioneer in the field of hand tool manufacturing to provide free tool kits to all the students getting passed from various ITIs in Punjab.

This initiative will collaborate with support from technical education department Punjab. These kits will help the ITI-passed students to get jobs and self-employment just after getting graduated from the ITIs.

More than 15000 students across Punjab would be benefitted from this noble gesture. This initiative is a Diwali gift to the youth of Punjab as we owe them a bright future.

Vikramjit said that we are fully dedicated and committed to do skilling and provide employment to every youth of Punjab. All the ITIs in Punjab will be connected with the local industry and Model Career centres, his NGO Sun Foundation will set up placement cells in collaboration with CII, FICO, CICU, PHD Chamber of Commerce etc.

Reema Singhal and Meenakshi Jain from Eastman, Gurmeet Singh Kular, President FICO and Apurva Gupta from Tata Power were present on the occasion. Sahney also mentioned contribution of Shekhar Singhal and Vijay Bansal in the initiative.
