Formation of “Haryana Airport Development Corporation” will expedite airport development projects: Dushyant Chautala

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Dushyant Chautala said that formation of “Haryana Airport Development Corporation” will facilitate the Civil Aviation Department to implement and expedite airport development projects. With this, the work of monitoring and inspection of development works of Integrated Aviation Hub and other airstrip work in Hisar can be effectively done.


The Deputy CM gave this information after launching the website of “Haryana Airport Development Corporation” at his office here today.


Sh. Dushyant Chautala, who also holds the portfolio of Civil Aviation Department, said that with the launch of this website, anyone from across the globe can see the development work being carried out by the Haryana Government in the Civil Aviation Department in the State.


Describing the formation of “Haryana Airport Development Corporation” in the state as important in the field of civil aviation, he said that its formation will facilitate the purchase of equipment and items for airport operation.


The Technical Feasibility Report may be reviewed for the development of airports as and when required. Not only this, now preparation and publication of tender documents for aviation activities will be easier, quality control of development works will be done through appropriate agencies.


The formation of “Haryana Airport Development Corporation” will help in repair, maintenance and upgradation of airport infrastructure and also institutional capacity building of the civil aviation sector in the state.


On this occasion, Advisor to the Civil Aviation Department, Sh. Shekhar Vidyarthi, OSD to the Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Kamlesh Bhadoo, besides other officials of the Civil Aviation Department were present.
