Ferozepur, November 22
In case of viral video of firing in air on social media, at a function at village Katora in Ferozepur, a case has been registered at police station Arif Ke against Tarsem Singh Nambardar of village Katora, under Sections 336, 188 of IPC and 25, 27, 54 and 59 of Arms Act.
As per the information, Karaj Singh with police team was patrolling near Arif Ke when a viral video of firing was noticed on social media and on seeing it was noticed that Tarsem Singh Nambarda of village Katora was seen firing in the air at a marriage party with 315 bore revolver on November 21, in violation of the orders of Punjab government and District Magistrate.
No arrest has so far been made and further investigations are on, said police sources.
