Chandigarh, October 4
Patiala Police has registered a case against DSP Sanjeev Sagar of Punjab Police on charges of raping a woman.
The victim woman has alleged in her statements to the police that she used to live in a rented house at DSP Sanjeev Sagar’s house where she (the victim) was being raped by the said DSP.
The victim woman also alleges that DSP’s gunman and his family members are favouring him despite sufficient evidence against him.
A case has been registered by the police against DSP Sanjeev Sagar under section 376, 506 of the IPC Act.
