Ferozepur, Sepember 6
The Ferozepur police working actively to eradicate the drugs menace from the district have nabbed 9 drug pushers with 440 gm heroin from different locations in the district and booked under NDPS Act Sections 21/61/85 at the respective nearby police stations.
The accused identified are Hardeep Singh, Surjt Singh, Paramjit Kaur from Arik Ke with recovery of – 18 gm heroin, one motorcycle, Sachin alias Vishal of Ferozepur City with 25 gm heroin, Bohra of Kulgarhi with 80 gm heroin, Manpreet Singh alias Mani of Naurang ke Syan in Ferozepur Cantt with 100 gm heroin and one car, Akash Deep Singh alias Deepu of Talwandi Bahi with 201 gm heroin and Arshdeep Singh and Balkar Singh of Zira with 16 gm heroin one motorcycle.
In all the cases, IOs have been appointed to further investigate the matter with backward and forward criminal history of these arrested persons, to crack the supply the chain and to make drug free district, said police official.
