In a significance achievement Fazilka police solved the robbery case in just 24 hours and arrested all five culprits. This was disclosed here by SSP Dr Pragya Jain.
While interacting with media SSP Dr Pragya Jain disclosed that the main culprit of the incident was the old employee of the victim family.
The incident had happened on Saturday at Abohar when two persons robbed from a home while injuring the lady. in this case FIR was registered on the statement of Mrs Vijay Nagpal.
Mrs Nagpal a senior citizen bravely recounted the unknown individual posing as AC service personal but even robbers looted her jewelry, phone and some cash.
Police registered a case and different teams were constituted to trace the culprits, SSP said. She said that more than hundred CCTV cameras were thoroughly examined and all the five accuesd were arrested by following technical inputs. The names of accused are Vikram Singh, Deepu, Vikram, Sajan and Raj Kumar. The main culprit is the old employee of the victim family while two accused had previous criminal records.
SP said that police work hard to solve this case in such a short time. The family members and locals also thanked the police department for quick action and to nab all the five accused person.
