Chandigarh, January 11
The prolonged dry spell in Himachal Pradesh is likely to end as widespread light to moderate rain and snow is likely to happen during the next 24 hours, the weather department has said.
The weather department has sounded an alert for heavy rain and snowfall at isolated places and light to moderate rain or snow at several places in the districts of Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Kullu, Shimla, Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur for January 12.
