Chandigarh, October 21
The Punjab Cabinet led by Bhagwant Mann on Friday took major decisions on Friday. Ahead of Diwali, the government announced, 6% DA for the employees.
Taking to Twitter, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann shared details of the meeting.
“Many decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting today. Among the important decisions: 1. Approved the decision to exempt vehicles carrying religious scriptures from tax. 2. Approval of changes in the rules of recruitment to give priority to the youth of Punjab in jobs. 3. Approval of new location of Mohali Medical College,” tweeted Bhagwant Mann.
In addition to this, the Punjab Cabinet approved the revival of Old Pension Scheme. CM Window to be opened in all 23 districts of the state.
